Our team is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments across office buildings, medical facilities, schools, warehouses, and other commercial spaces. We are looking for someone who leads by example, takes initiative, communicates well with both clients and staff, and takes pride in maintaining high standards and consistent service quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk-only position. Our supervisors are actively involved in training, quality inspections, team support, problem-solving, and helping maintain operational success across assigned accounts.
This position is primarily an evening/night role. Flexibility is important, as operational needs, projects, emergencies, walkthroughs, or account support may occasionally require schedule adjustments outside of standard hours.
Role duties
- Carry out regular cleaning inspections and help maintain company cleaning standards across assigned locations
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to help ensure smooth daily operations and strong team accountability
- Monitor cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure all materials remain organized, stocked, and functioning properly
- Support and train new team members on cleaning methods, routines, safety procedures, and IFS standards
- Help monitor attendance, accountability, and daily team performance while addressing operational concerns proactively
- Reinforce company policies, workplace expectations, and safety procedures through consistent leadership and communication
- Help identify opportunities for team improvement, coaching, and development
- Step into operational needs as required, including helping with cleaning tasks, account coverage, project work, quality inspections, and client support when necessary
- Ensure health and safety procedures are consistently followed while proactively identifying and addressing concerns when necessary
- Help ensure employees receive proper onboarding, workplace training, and understanding of emergency procedures
- Identify and help correct hazardous or unsafe conditions when necessary
- Maintain accountability and professionalism while handling client access, keys, alarm procedures, and other site-specific responsibilities
- Represent IFS values on-site by remaining professional, dependable, presentable, and willing to go the extra mile for both clients and team members
Specifications
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a similar field is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and management
- Basic computer and technology skills are essential
- Ability to work independently using good judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
- Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
- Ability to build positive working relationships while maintaining accountability and high standards
- Comfortable leading by example and stepping into operational needs when necessary
- Understanding of workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Experience coordinating tasks, schedules, or teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- OSHA certifications or other cleaning certifications are beneficial
- Must be able to complete background screening and drug testing prior to start date
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
