About LearnWell

For more than 26 years, LearnWell has partnered with healthcare facilities nationwide to provide educational services to students receiving behavioral health treatment. Our mission is to help students continue their academic progress during times of crisis and successfully transition back to their home schools.

 

Today, our network of more than 200 educators serves students across the country, providing individualized instruction in supportive, small-classroom environments.

 

Position Summary

LearnWell is seeking passionate and adaptable certified teachers to join our growing team across multiple locations in Ohio. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities in behavioral health settings, where educators work directly with K-12 students in small classroom environments.

This role is ideal for teachers who want to focus on meaningful student connections, individualized instruction, and work-life balance while making a lasting impact.

 

What You'll Do

  • Provide instruction and academic support to K-12 students in a behavioral health setting
  • Facilitate district-assigned coursework and help students stay on track academically
  • Adapt instruction to meet a variety of grade levels, learning styles, and academic needs
  • Develop daily instructional plans and learning activities
  • Monitor student progress and maintain required educational documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff, school districts, and families as appropriate
  • Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Active Ohio teaching license required (substitute licenses will not be considered)
  • Experience teaching or supporting students in core academic subjects
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners and educational backgrounds
  • Reliable transportation
