Property Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled, versatile Property Maintenance Technician to oversee the physical assets of 4–5 commercial properties within our regional portfolio. This is a dynamic role where you will rotate between sites to handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

You will start and end your workday at our central office in Lake Worth, FL, where you will receive your daily work orders. A company-provided vehicle is available for all transit between sites during the workday and stays parked at our yard overnight.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $24.00+ per hour (Starting rate dependent on experience)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Regular overtime is anticipated)

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Rotation: Safely operate a company vehicle to travel between 4–5 commercial sites to perform routine inspections and repairs.
• HVAC Maintenance: Diagnose basic HVAC issues, change filters, clean coils, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial systems.
• Plumbing Repairs: Troubleshoot leaks, clear drains, repair or replace commercial fixtures (toilets, faucets, flushometers), and maintain facility water systems.
• Electrical Upkeep: Replace ballasts, bulbs, switches, outlets, and handle minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Carpentry & Framing: Repair drywall, paint, adjust commercial doors/closers, install locks, and handle miscellaneous hardware repairs.
• Daily Workflow: Report to the Lake Worth yard every morning at 8:00 AM to receive assignments, map out the day's tasks, and log completed work orders accurately.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule shared among technicians to handle emergency repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, property management maintenance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong, well-rounded hands-on skills in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required to operate the company vehicle).
• Availability: Ability to work the standard M-F schedule, handle anticipated overtime, and participate in the emergency on-call rotation.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with commercial tenants and office staff.
