OPERATION MANAGER

Location: Little Rock

Compensation:

The General Manager at a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise is the single point of accountability for the business including sales growth, hitting KPIs, training and development, and maintaining a smooth operation. This position requires a leader who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and has proven strong organizational and people skills in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. We are looking for a person who responds positively to challenges and has experience working with competing priorities.

 

Key responsibilities of this position will include (but not be limited to):

  • Supervising a team of 5+ Truck Team Members and motivating them to achieve their goals with the assistance of the Director of Operations and Local Business Owner.
  • Ensuring high-quality execution for all jobs; monitoring post-job satisfaction of customers and proactively addressing any issues that arise
  • Maintaining all information related to sales, estimates, job/truck, and other operational details are entered in supporting information systems, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date
  • Performing office responsibilities and administrative tasks.
  • Completion of staffing tasks including recruiting, hiring, and training.
  • You will be involved with the development, onboarding, training, and career growth programs for new and existing employees.
  • Achievement of all operational related goals and KPIs
  • Days will start at 7 am. This position may be required to work some Saturdays and/or evenings as well as be accessible by phone after hours and on weekends.
  • This position will average 40+ hours per week and offers compensation to match the demands of this position.
  • Dispatch/Operations: You will run the routes for the franchise’s Truck Team Members to ensure on time service is provided to all our customers
  • Customer Service: Most days, you will be on the trucks alongside our Truck Team Members servicing our customers & increasing your sales skills
  • Sales: You will be the sales leader helping our truck team members sell our services to customers throughout the area.
  • Sales Meetings: Prior to our truck team members hitting the road in the morning, we hold a quick, interactive sales meeting that includes reviewing sales numbers as well as coaching & role plays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree BBA
  • 3+ years of General Management or Operations Management / Team Leadership experience

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
