Certified Medical Aide (CMA) - AUTO OFFER

• Contract Duration: 8 Weeks contract (possible for extension) 
• Shift: Day Shift (5x8 Hours) 
• Pay Rate: $30/hour (W2) 

Position Summary: 
The Medical Assistant provides non-invasive clinical and administrative support services under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, podiatrists, and nurse midwives. This assignment will support an EPIC system conversion project while ensuring efficient patient care and clinic operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist healthcare providers with routine patient care and clinical procedures. 
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information. 
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments. 
• Support outpatient clinic workflows and patient scheduling activities. 
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. 
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and organizational policies. 
• Provide excellent customer service and patient support throughout the care experience. 
• Assist with administrative and clinical duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). 
• Phlebotomy Certification. 
• Audiometry and Vision Screening Certification or CHDP Certificate. 
• Previous outpatient clinic or ambulatory care experience. 
• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records.
