Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Meriden, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $17/hr or more, based on experience

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior manufacturing experience who is comfortable operating machinery, performing quality inspections, and working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and shut down production equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Monitor machine performance and production output
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine adjustments
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication as required
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Experience operating production machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
