Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, manage the month-end close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead a small accounting team on a contract basis. This role will partner closely with leadership to support financial accuracy, process improvements, and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and internal controls
• Support payroll-related accounting activities, including payroll accruals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
• Supervise and develop accounting staff
• Assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting
• Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Exposure to payroll accounting, including payroll reconciliations and accruals
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA preferred but not required
