Opportunity:

CT/X-Ray Technologist

Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using both fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Operate CT room equipment to produce routine and emergent diagnostic images
• Adjust exposure settings and patient positioning for optimal image acquisition
• Minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles for maximum patient protection
• Process images in PACS system for radiologist review
• Complete examinations according to radiologist protocols
• Document, charge, and process procedures using electronic medical records
• Schedule patient appointments for various imaging services including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, DXA, and Holter Monitor
• Administer and assist patients with contrast media for CT examinations
• Participate in quality control activities for equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all examinations
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Work rotating call and weekend schedules
• Required credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
• Preferred: 1 year experience as a CT technologist
• Must demonstrate clinical proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology
