Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) role in a long-term care setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active MN RN license.
Details
- Post-acute/long-term care (LTC) management setting
- Serves as interim DON with floor coverage responsibilities as needed
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
- No on-call or call-back responsibilities
Requirements
- Active MN RN license required (must be active, pending licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required — no exceptions
- Computerized charting experience required
- Driver's license required
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Responsible for interim DON leadership duties, including floor coverage to fill staffing needs as required
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
- If facility-provided housing is used, local pay rates apply
