Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Experience a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact supporting students in a dynamic school environment this summer. A contract opening is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide Extended School Year (ESY) services. This on-site position allows you to closely collaborate with other educational professionals while guiding 10-15 students to achieve their goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Active Washington State ESA required
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt activities to a range of student needs and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group PT services to ESY students
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the IEP team
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services provided
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other support staff as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Ensure all services follow state and federal guidelines
Role Details:
- Contract position from July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026
- Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day
- Located fully on-site, supporting a caseload of 10-15 students
