Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing Physical Therapy services to students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist eager to work directly with school-aged children in a supportive educational environment. Conveniently located near Renton, WA, this role runs from July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026, with a weekday schedule of five hours per day.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy (PT) license
- Washington State ESA certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support students with diverse physical therapy needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site physical therapy services to a caseload of 10–15 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student access and participation
- Document student progress and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and help create a positive learning atmosphere
- Support student goals around mobility, participation, and independence during ESY
