Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity providing direct PT services this summer. You’ll be serving a focused caseload of elementary and secondary students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference, offering on-site support and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Valid Washington State ESA certification
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or ESY setting preferred
- Strong commitment to supporting student growth and participation
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff, and parents
Position Details:
- Contract engagement in a school-based environment
- ESY dates: July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026
- Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day
- On-site only; no remote or virtual options
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 students receiving ESY services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group PT services in accordance with student IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain detailed progress documentation
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Support students in developing functional mobility, motor skills, and access to the school environment
