Physical Therapist - School Setting in Renton, WA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity providing direct PT services this summer. You’ll be serving a focused caseload of elementary and secondary students during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference, offering on-site support and collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Valid Washington State ESA certification
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or ESY setting preferred
• Strong commitment to supporting student growth and participation
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff, and parents

Position Details:

• Contract engagement in a school-based environment
• ESY dates: July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026
• Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day
• On-site only; no remote or virtual options
• Manage a caseload of 10-15 students receiving ESY services

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group PT services in accordance with student IEPs
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain detailed progress documentation
• Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
• Support students in developing functional mobility, motor skills, and access to the school environment
