Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence as a contract physical therapist for Extended School Year services. This on-site position runs from July 6, 2026, through July 31, 2026, offering weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 5 hours/day) and a manageable caseload of 10-15 students. You’ll deliver vital PT services designed to help students reach their goals in a supportive and collaborative school setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based PT preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently to manage on-site responsibilities
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services as outlined in students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other school specialists to coordinate support plans
  • Monitor, assess, and document progress while adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintain professional and compliant records following school and state protocols
  • Facilitate a positive, inclusive environment where students can maximize their abilities
  • Communicate clearly with parents and staff to share student progress and recommendations
