Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan special education teaching license
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students with moderate cognitive impairments (MoCI)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Passion for facilitating growth, learning, and inclusion in a school setting
ResponsibilitIes:
- Provide high-quality instruction and support for students with moderate cognitive impairments across grade levels K-12
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an effective and individualized learning experience
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student programs, services provided, and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes success and independence
