Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact this summer by delivering Extended School Year (ESY) physical therapy services in a supportive and engaging school environment near Bellevue, WA. Work one-on-one and in small groups with 10-15 students, helping them maintain their progress and reach their goals during the July session. This is an on-site only, contract opportunity—perfect for those passionate about working with school-age students and seeking a short-term assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Washington State ESA certification required
- Experience providing PT within school settings preferred
- Passion for supporting children and adolescents with diverse physical needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Role Overview:
- Deliver direct PT services to 10-15 students as part of ESY programming
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize student success
- Complete documentation and progress reports per district requirements
- Adapt interventions and modalities for a variety of student needs
- Work a Monday through Friday schedule, 5 hours each day, July 6 through July 31, 2026
- Maintain compliance with state and district standards, ensuring best practices throughout
