Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Lead/Clerk to join our team. We specialize in building and manufacturing Cold Forming machines and have a Field Service division that services our brand machines at customer facilities. Our work environment is characterized by a small, family-type atmosphere with both office and manufacturing/warehouse space.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory control and perform computer data entry for tracking purposes.
• Understand and execute shop order processes, reporting, and basic EMS system requirements.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Communicate well with internal and external customers and solve problems efficiently.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with continuous lifting of lightweight materials.
• Collaborate as a team player and contribute to team success.

Essential Skills

• Experience in material handling, warehouse, and manufacturing work.
• Knowledge of processes and operations in the assigned work area.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work energetically.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing or machining is a plus.
• Certification in forklift operation is advantageous.

Work Environment

The role is based in a shop environment with CNC and manual machines, as well as Cold Formers. The facility includes a large shipping dock for large semis and material handling equipment. The first shift operates from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
