Job Title: General Laborer – Concrete Production
Job Description
This role supports large-scale concrete production by setting up forms and rebar, pouring and inspecting concrete, and moving finished and in-process products throughout the production yard. You will work with a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools, perform heavy lifting, and occasionally lead small work areas or crews to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set up concrete forms and rebar for large concrete slabs according to specifications and measurements.
- Pour concrete into prepared forms, ensuring proper placement and distribution.
- Perform visual inspections of concrete products before and after the curing process to identify defects or quality issues.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively to support daily production tasks.
- Load and unload concrete products and materials to and from different stations around the production yard.
- Lift and move products weighing up to 70 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including general cleaning tasks in the yard and around equipment.
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure products meet required specifications.
- Support carpentry-related tasks involved in building, adjusting, or repairing concrete forms.
- Lead small groups or specific work areas as needed to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of construction or concrete experience.
- Experience with general labor tasks in a construction or production environment.
- Hands-on experience working with concrete, including forming and pouring.
- Ability to safely use hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and other basic tools.
- Ability to safely operate power tools commonly used in construction and production.
- Ability to work with pneumatic tools as required for production tasks.
- Basic carpentry skills related to building and adjusting concrete forms.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Capability to lift and move up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a concrete production yard or similar industrial environment.
- general construction or production work involving heavy materials.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
- Ability to take initiative and step into a lead role for small groups or work areas when needed.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting products before and after curing.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, first-shift role, Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible overtime on Saturdays during the same hours. All work takes place outdoors in the production yard, rain or shine, across all seasons of the year. Team members must dress appropriately for changing weather conditions and be prepared for a physically demanding environment that involves heavy lifting, working with concrete, and regular use of hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.71 - $24.71/hr.
