Commercial Employees Staffing is currently seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Mechanic for a client in Huger, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to join a growing operation with competitive pay, strong benefits, and long-term potential.
Pay rate $21hr+ Based on Experience
Mechanic Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications
- Diagnosing issues through observation, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments
- Remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
- Inspect and adjust equipment components using rules, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices
Mechanic Requirements:
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments
- Previous industrial / mechanical maintenance experience preferred
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
