CDL Class B Driver / Chemical Delivery

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Pay: $25–$28/hour + Overtime Opportunities

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our team. This role combines local delivery driving with hands-on warehouse responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely product delivery, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting customer operations through safe handling of chemical products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving, customer interaction, and warehouse work.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver chemicals and products to customers along a designated local route
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks)
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive inbound shipments and support inventory management
• Provide basic technical support to customers during product delivery and chemical transitions
• Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records using company systems
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations, and all company safety policies
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance
• Support general warehouse operations as needed

Schedule & Work Environment

• Start and end each day at the Pompano Beach warehouse
• Combination of driving and warehouse duties (more warehouse work during slower delivery periods)
• Use of an open-bed stake truck (flatbed with side racks)
• Company phone and iPad provided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL Class B license (Class A accepted)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
• Clean driving record:
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 5 years
  • No more than 2 preventable at-fault accidents in the past 5 years
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks preferred
• Basic computer skills (Excel and Outlook)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, load, and work in a physically active environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional travel

Skills

• Hazmat handling experience
• Delivery driving in a regulated environment
• Warehouse logistics and inventory experience
