Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A short-term opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to deliver Extended School Year (ESY) services on-site in a supportive educational environment near Bellevue, WA. This contract role runs from July 6, 2026 to July 31, 2026, Monday through Friday, with daily shifts of 5 hours.
What We’re Seeking:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
- Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic school setting
- Commitment to supporting students’ physical growth and access to learning
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering physical therapy services for a caseload of 10–15 ESY students
- Implementing individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring
- Collaborating closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Accurately documenting sessions and outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Supporting students’ functional mobility and engagement during summer school activities
- Ensuring compliance with IEPs, district policy, and relevant regulations
