Grades 9 - 12 K-5 Special Education Teacher | Grove City, Ohio

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist certification for Ohio

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Organized, proactive, and creative in finding solutions to support each student

Responsibilities:

• Assess student abilities to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to academic and functional needs
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Monitor progress, adjust teaching methods, and document student growth
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and goals
