Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires collaboration with the warehouse team and effective communication skills to ensure smooth inventory operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Track and report on inventory metrics, ensuring accuracy in location and stock levels.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of inventory items.
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues, such as shipping errors and damaged goods.
- Safely operate PIV equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers, to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage products.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and movements.
- Prepare reports on return trends, issues, and resolutions for management review.
- Proficiency in data entry, cycle counts, order entry, and inventory control.
- Experience with PIV equipment such as clamp trucks, forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in inventory management, returns processing, or a related role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
