Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Valid licensure to practice as an IR Tech in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and sterile technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment for interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures
- Prepare patients for imaging and procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Accurately document patient information and procedural data
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and hospital protocols
