Job Description
- Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Process returned medications and properly recycle or dispose of them per established procedures
- Assist with prepacking frequently ordered medications, including labeling and storage during low-volume periods
- Manually package medications and related materials
- Pick and pull medications from shelving and designated storage areas (e.g., prepack racks)
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy
- Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan properly
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adequate stock of supplies at all times
- Comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
- Follow departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ponchatoula, LA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
