- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Control access at assigned entry and exit points by verifying identification, screening visitors, checking authorized access lists, and directing staff, guests, and vendors according to post procedures.
- Monitor movement through restricted areas, maintain visitor logs and/or access records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and supporting personnel on location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A COLA: DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
