Job Responsibilities:
\n -Verifies the ordered exam and appropriateness utilizing assessment data and principles of growth and development.
\n -Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
\n -Position the patient and equipment to achieve the optimal images.
\n -Utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards.
\n -Works with physicians to evaluate the images and determine whether or not additional images are needed.
\n -AppIies radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
\n -Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, educates and responds to questions or concerns.
\n -Ensures age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development. "    "Required Skills & Experience:
\n -One year as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Required Certifications & Licensure:   -BLS  -State Radiology Technologist License RAD.  -CNMT or ARRT(N).
