American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of endoscopy experience and a variable call schedule.
Details- Hospital-based endoscopy unit with a 204-bed facility capacity
- Unit staffed by RNs and Endo Techs, with a day shift team of 3 RNs and 2–3 Endo Techs
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures performed include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, cardioversion, and TEE
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Variable call schedule required
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation shared with hospital employees
- 12-week contract
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy RN experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Experience with complex procedures such as robotics is preferred
- Ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and able to multitask effectively
- Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
