- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- NIH Certification (likely NIH Stroke Scale).
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI).
Certification Details
- Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Department at Marquette General Hospital, a 225 bed specialty care hospital with Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, Pediatrics.
- Located in Marquette, Michigan, central region of Michigan's upper peninsula, largest community in the peninsula, home to Northern Michigan University.
- Orientation is bi-weekly.
Job Details
- BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse License required in Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (Emergency Department).
Job Requirements
- 36 hours per week.
Schedule Information
- Emergency Department specialty.
Unit Specific Information
- Absence policy: Second absence results in formal warning; third absence may lead to contract termination unless agreed otherwise with unit leader.
- All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours.
- UPHS–Marquette not responsible for early termination fees if contract is ended for just cause including attendance or professional conduct violations.
