American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a NY RN license and the ability to cover L&D, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery on night shifts.
Details- Acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Unit includes 4 birthing rooms and up to 12 postpartum rooms with overflow into a swing unit
- Covers Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery
- Advanced fetal monitoring experience is preferred; basic fetal monitoring is acceptable
- EMR: Epic
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- COVID vaccination required — declination forms are not accepted
- Well-rounded L&D experience expected, with ability to rotate across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery
- Unit manager conducts interviews
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — no exceptions
