Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery RN - Night Shift (3x12s)
Job Description: Malone Healthcare is hiring a highly skilled Travel L&D RN for a 13-week contract at a premier Intermountain Health (formerly SCL Health) hospital in Billings, MT. This position handles a diverse maternal-child patient population in a high-quality, supportive environment. Weekly Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour shifts
- Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: July 13, 2026
- On-Call: May be required during regularly scheduled shifts based on unit census.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Strong acute care Labor & Delivery background. Must be fully competent in circulating vaginal deliveries and scheduled/emergent C-sections.
- Licensure: Active Montana (MT) state nursing license or multi-state Compact license.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and NRP are required. ACLS and AWHONN fetal monitoring are highly preferred.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred).
- Floating: Flexibility to float to comparable units (Postpartum/Couplet Care/Antepartum) within your scope of competency to meet facility needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform independent nursing functions including continuous fetal monitoring, labor assessments, and immediate newborn stabilization care.
- Administer high-risk maternal medications (such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and epidural management) safely according to standard clinical protocols.
- Assess, plan, and execute care for both low-risk and high-risk OB patients, accurately documenting all data in accordance with hospital regulatory guidelines.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered education and support to growing families throughout the delivery and recovery process.
