Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide nursing care in a progressive care/stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
\n
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 in stepdown and 1:5 or 6 on the floor.
\n
• Titrate and manage various drips including Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, and more.
\n
• Collaborate with dedicated charge nurses and house supervisors for smooth unit operations.
\n
• Utilize EPIC for detailed charting and maintaining accurate patient records.
\n
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling including self and block scheduling practices.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Valid RN license; willingness to await license submission as necessary.
\n
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA approved).
\n
• Experience in cardiac care and handling high acuity patients is preferred.
\n
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other RT equipment.
\n
• Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with tele techs and clinical associates.
\n
• Ability to float to different units as required by staffing needs.
\n
