\nER - RN
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with multiple shift options: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 10:00 AM-10:00 PM, 1:00 PM-1:00 AM, or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
\n• Nights and/or evenings available (manager will discuss during phone interview)
\n• Every other weekend requirement based on unit needs and demands
\n• Holiday requirement unless specified off in signed contract
\n• Rare call requirements
\n• Patient ratios of 1:3-4
\n• Must have 2-3 years of ER experience
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
\n• Must be an independent thinker and self-motivated
\n• ER RNs manage all aspects of patient care including drawing blood, managing holds, and reading telemetry strips
\n• Work in 11-bed emergency department seeing approximately 37 patients per day
\n• Handle typical emergency department cases and trauma patients
\n• Direct bedding until full, then quick triage process
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
\n• 2-3 days of 12-hour unit-specific orientation required
\n• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
\n• Floating requirements only if desired and usually not required for ER
\n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
Facility:
\nThis acute care facility operates a Level 4 trauma center with an 11-bed emergency department that provides comprehensive emergency medical services. The facility maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy support, in-house security, and imaging services located adjacent to the emergency department. The emergency department features a separate psych/seclusion room and operates with one physician providing 12-hour shift coverage, supported by experienced nursing staff who manage all aspects of patient care.

\nThis position is located in Pennsylvania, strategically positioned next to a major interstate near the famous "Cabbage Hill." The area offers convenient access to major transportation routes while providing opportunities to work in a challenging trauma environment that serves both local community members and travelers along busy interstate corridors.
