Cath Lab Technologist | 13-Week Contract
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support a high-acuity cardiovascular team in a busy acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong Cath Lab experience, be comfortable scrubbing and circulating procedures, and possess Level I Trauma experience.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- 12-Hour Shifts
- Guaranteed 36 Hours per Week
- Orientation: 12 Hours plus department-specific training

Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Level I Trauma experience required
- ARRT Certification required
- Active MRTBE CRT License required
- BLS Certification required
- Must be able to scrub Cath Lab procedures
- Experience with both cardiac and vascular interventions preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Scrub and circulate during Cath Lab procedures
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging and monitoring equipment
- Prepare patients and procedural areas while ensuring patient safety
- Monitor and document procedure-related information
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care
Department Highlights:
- Multiple procedure rooms including dedicated electrophysiology and hybrid labs
- Approximately 10–25 cases performed daily
- Exposure to complex cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures
- Charge nurse support available

- Electrophysiology (EP) Procedures
- Peripheral Vascular Interventions
- Structural Heart Procedures
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- MitraClip Procedures
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Placement
- Emergency Cardiac and Vascular Interventions
Additional Information:
- Experience with Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
