Location: Seattle, WA
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent GI Technician experience
  • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through HSPA

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and nursing staff during GI procedures
  • Position patients for procedures
  • Collect and handle specimens
  • Perform bedside pre-cleaning of endoscopes
  • Set up and break down procedure rooms and equipment
  • Restock supplies and maintain procedure room readiness

Common Procedures:

  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
  • Esophageal Motility Studies (experience preferred but not required)

Additional Information:

  • Four procedure suites, one gastric lab, and one HRA room
  • One GI Technician assigned per procedure room
  • Procedural scrubs provided
  • Orientation with an experienced GI Technician until competency is demonstrated
  • Rare floating may be required to nearby location
