Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Review images for accuracy, quality, and completeness before submission to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines
• Assist with emergency, trauma, and routine diagnostic imaging procedures as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT certification required
• CT certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Tech experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience with contrast-enhanced studies and emergency imaging preferred
• Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
