Travel Surgical Technologist – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location: Sacramento, CA
Start Date: 06/23/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 10-Hour Varied Shifts + Call
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong CVOR experience for a fast-paced acute care setting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume cardiovascular surgical team and assist with a wide range of cardiac procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve surgeries, and other open-heart procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure efficient workflow throughout procedures.
• Follow all infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

 

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Surgical Tech experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA required.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
