- CERNER charting system experience is required.
- Travel Experience: Preferred
- Education:
- ADN required
- BSN preferred
- Licensure: Current Arkansas RN License or Compact State RN License in good standing
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
- Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
The 17-bed ICU/CSICU specializes in the care of patients requiring advanced critical care and cardiovascular services, including:
Cardiovascular & Surgical Patient Population
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Thoracotomy Procedures
- Carotid Stenting
- Heart Valve Replacement and Repair
- Vascular Interventions
- General Surgery Patients
Advanced Therapies & Equipment
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- Induced Hypothermia Therapy
- Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
- Impella Heart Pump
Patient Population
- Neonates
- Pediatrics
- Adults
- Geriatrics
- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients within the ICU/CSICU.
- Utilize the nursing process to:
- Assess
- Diagnose
- Plan
- Implement
- Evaluate patient care plans
- Deliver care through the facility’s Shared Governance model.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Promote evidence-based practice and a patient-centered healing environment.
- Provide leadership and support within the nursing team.
- Current Arkansas RN License or Compact State RN License in good standing.
- Position is designated as Safety Sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
