🩺 Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
📍 Canton, OH 44708
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/26/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts
• Labor & Delivery assignment in an acute care hospital setting
• Opportunity to work across multiple areas within Women's Services
🏥 Unit Details:
• Labor & Delivery Unit
• Care for laboring, induction, antepartum, and obstetric surgical patients
📋 Requirements:
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery experience required prior to travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience required as home unit
• AHA BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• STABLE Certification required
• All certifications must be in hand at the time of submission
⭐ Preferred:
• Previous travel nursing experience
• EPIC Stork experience preferred but not required
🩺 Required Skills:
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Labor induction and monitoring
• Fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation
• Circulating in the OB Operating Room (OB-OR)
• Antepartum patient care
• IV starts and IV management
• Maternal and neonatal assessment
• Emergency obstetric response and multidisciplinary care coordination
🩺 Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to laboring and antepartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process
• Assist with labor inductions and high-risk obstetric cases
• Function as a circulator in the OB-OR when assigned
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary care providers
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered maternal care
