Job Requirements

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / ED nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department
• Familiarity with ED documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize patient needs in urgent situations
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and safe discharge instructions
