Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & DeliveryLocation: California
Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
On-Call: Required as needed
Weekend Requirement: None
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic obstetric setting. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Staff Nurse II independently utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care while demonstrating age-specific competencies and clinical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- AWHONN Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
- Supervise and provide guidance to LVNs, nursing assistants, and clinical support staff as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
