Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Night Shift (Contract)
Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of patient care needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams in critical situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and clinical protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years recent Emergency Room experience (within last 6 months preferred)
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Current certifications:
- BLS (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS (AHA/ARC)
- PALS (AHA/ARC)
- TNCC (Required)
- Strong experience in high-acuity ER settings
- Prior experience with Meditech Expanse (preferred)
- Must have reliable transportation
