Grinder/Days/$15+hr

Position: Grinder

Pay: $15-16 per hour

Location: Pryor, OK

Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Grinder to perform precision smoothing, polishing, sanding, and finishing of metal components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to producing quality finished parts.

Responsibilities:
• Grind, sand, clean, polish, and smooth metal parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces for finishing
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform grinding and finishing operations
• Select and install grinding pads and abrasives based on job specifications
• Fill cracks, blemishes, and surface imperfections using approved materials
• Inspect work for quality and consistency throughout the finishing process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and trash removal
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform repetitive work
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift
• Frequent repetitive motion using hands and arms
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Exposure to dust, noise, and manufacturing environments
• Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when required

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

Pay: $15-16 per hour, depending on experience
