In Home Caregiver/Certified Home Health Aide

Job Summary

We are currently hiring caring individuals to join our team!

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Meal preparation tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Support clients with companionship and engage in social activities to promote mental well-being
• Proven experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer’s) or memory care needs
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts
• Strong communication skills for documenting care plans and noting changes in condition or behavior and reporting findings accurately using ShiftCare remote app
