Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Clinic (Full-Time)

Quality Response Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for an immediate opportunity with a busy orthopedic clinic in Seguin, Texas. This is a full-time position with the potential to transition into a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Position Details

• Full-Time (40 hours per week)

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Orthopedic clinic setting

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Temporary with potential temp-to-hire opportunity

• Weekly pay

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients

• Obtaining and documenting vital signs

• Patient intake and medical histories

• Assisting providers with patient care

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation

• Appointment scheduling and patient follow-up

• Front desk and administrative support as needed

• Maintaining exam rooms and clinical supplies

• Providing excellent customer service to patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification required

• Minimum one (1) year of medical office or clinical experience/credential preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Orthopedic experience is a plus, but not required

Credentialing Requirements
Candidates must be able to successfully complete all client and agency credentialing requirements, including:

• Negative drug screen

• TB screening (QTB Gold or 2-step skin test)

• MMR documentation

• Tdap (within the last 10 years)

• Varicella documentation

• Hepatitis B series or declination

• Employment verification

• Professional references

• Background screening
