Maintenance Technician

Manufacturing company is seeking Maintenance Technicians for day and night shifts. Night shifts have a $1/hr shift differential. Pay starts at $21.40/hr plus any differential and can be higher depending on specific experience. Position is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and repairing machinery and other systems as needed in a timely manner, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC control systems. Position reports to the maintenance manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all internal equipment, external facilities, and equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Coordinate and prioritize assigned daily workload based on the schedule.
• Troubleshoot complex, automated equipment
• Perform planned maintenance activities, including preventative & predictive maintenance
• Perform equipment failure analysis.
• Perform other maintenance duties and special projects as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of maintenance tech experience
2. Experience working with PLC controllers, electrical components, reading electrical drawings, mechanical, pneumatics & administrative skills a plus
3. Food industry a plus.
4. Ability to use many different types of hand tools, instruments, and gauges.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, contractors, and vendors. Speak and understand English, Spanish a plus.
6. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
