Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Medical Director

Are you a passionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ready to step into a leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic Medical Director to lead and elevate care at our established community mental health center—serving children, adolescents, and adults across clinic, school, and community-based settings.
In this role, you won’t just provide care—you’ll set the standard. You’ll guide a multidisciplinary team, influence clinical programming, and help expand access to high-quality, evidence-based mental health services for underserved populations. This is a unique opportunity to blend direct patient care with leadership, allowing you to make both immediate and long-term impact.
Our ideal candidate would be comfortable treating all ages, but this is not a requirement. We are looking for someone with prior experience independently prescribing medication and someone who is comfortable jumping into a very fast paced environment that requires multitasking patient visits with paperwork, refills, phone calls, and other associated tasks related to client care.

We are seeking a CRNP-PMH licensed in Maryland.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management
- Serve as clinical leader and mentor to therapists and support staff
- Oversee and enhance clinical quality, protocols, and compliance
- Collaborate with leadership on program development and growth
- Support community outreach and integrated care initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active (or eligible) state license
- Strong clinical judgment with a passion for community-based care
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive care

- Knowledge of psychotropic medications.
- Self guided determination to complete your notes inside of 24 hours
- Strong character matters - integrity, honesty, adaptability and quality of care to name a few
- Passionate clinician with engaging interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
