Position Overview 

One of our Partners in Minnesota is seeking an OB Hospitalist physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage supporting high-risk obstetrical patients in a collaborative hospital-based practice.

This opportunity offers flexible 12-hour and 24-hour in-house shifts, 24/7 Maternal Fetal Medicine support, strong physician backup, Epic EMR, and highly competitive compensation.

Compensation Highlights:

• $250/hour provider pay
• $3,000 per 12-hour shift
• $6,000 per 24-hour in-house shift
• Top 10% provider compensation compared to similar 2026 OB Hospitalist opportunities

• Emergency temporary privileges available for clean files
• Minnesota license highly preferred
• IMLC required if Minnesota license is not currently held
• Travel and lodging provided
• Malpractice insurance provided

Job Responsibilities

• Provide in-house OB Hospitalist coverage
• Manage high-risk obstetrical patients alongside MFM specialists
• Respond to labor and delivery emergencies
• Evaluate urgent obstetrical consultations
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and operative obstetrics
• Manage unassigned obstetrical patients
• Collaborate with CNMs, MFM physicians, laborists, and nursing teams
• Document patient encounters within Epic (Excellian)
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
