Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking California-licensed Occupational Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in Vernon, California. This role involves diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing pre-placement DOT physicals, public safety screenings, and surveillance exams for a range of private and government entities. The position also includes evaluating and managing urgent care walk-in patients, communicating with employers, and providing expert medical guidance in a professional setting.

• Vernon, California • Locum Tenens • Outpatient occupational health setting • Coverage: Ongoing

Schedule Details

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Clinical Scope

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and conditions
• Routine pre-employment DOT physicals and surveillance exams
• Evaluate and manage urgent care walk-in patients
• Perform in-office procedures as needed
• Communicate findings and medical guidance with employers
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly

Requirements

• MD license active and unrestricted in California
• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD)
• Completion of relevant training or experience in occupational medicine
• Comfortable performing physical exams, including DOT physicals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation skills in compliance with regulatory standards
