RN – Long-Term Care (LTC) | 13-Week Contract
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Care setting. The RN will provide direct resident care, medication administration, wound care, and charge nurse responsibilities while working with a diverse geriatric population.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Guaranteed 36 Hours per Week

Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Active RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Strong medication administration and wound care experience
- Charge nurse experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Perform wound assessments and wound care management
- Serve as charge nurse and coordinate resident care activities
- Complete resident assessments and documentation
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Patient Population:
- Long-Term Care residents
- Heart Disease
- Diabetes
- Dementia and Memory Care Needs
- Chronic Medical Conditions
Clinical Environment:
- Long-Term Care setting
- Nurse-to-resident ratios approximately 1:10 on days
- Matrix electronic medical record system
- No IV drips, telemetry monitoring, or respiratory therapy services on-site
- Physician support available through on-call coverage
Additional Information:
- No call requirement
- No floating requirement
- Every other major holiday required
- Professional and presentable attire required
- Profile Review and Manager Approval Required
Important Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius.
- Candidates cannot be currently employed as Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN staff with affiliated facilities.
- Request Time Off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 days or less during the contract.
