Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
Location: Colorado Springs Region, CO
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evenings/Nights (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Current RN License
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
- Neuro experience preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry settings
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and perform telemetry interpretation
- Administer medications and manage Heparin drips
- Assess, plan, and coordinate patient care across various specialties
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

- General Medical and Observation patients
Floating Requirements:
- Must float throughout the assigned Zone 1 region
- May be required to work in MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU assignments within competency
- No home-base facility; assignments may vary by schedule
Scheduling Requirements:
- 6–9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- Schedule released 4–6 weeks in advance
- Travelers should be flexible with scheduling and unit assignments
Additional Information:
- EPIC charting system
- Respiratory equipment utilized may include CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory support devices
- Rare standby requirements during low census periods
- Orientation includes compliance training and unit-specific onboarding
- Candidates should be adaptable and comfortable working across multiple specialties and care settings
